Training week 1
Welcome Life Artists!
We took our time to create the best content for you, and here it is!
This is our first blog post and video ever and we are so proud of it.
In this training session, you will learn to recognize how doubt feels to you and how it is manifesting itself as a physical experience – giving you control over your state. We will then move our attention to physical states of excitement and the willingness to dream – to shift from the physical embodiment of doubt into the flow state of DESIRE.
So, go on, have fun, enjoy this training and use it as often as you wish to train shifting from doubt into states of empowering and motivating desire.
Daring to Dream or Diving into Self -Doubt – Summary
- We always dream – Either you are dreaming doubt or dreaming desire.
- Doubt is your reaction to the unknown and focusing on the “what if’s” instead of the possibilities.
- Agreeing to the unknown and relaxing into embodiment, brings you back in the now and back into creative flow.
One of the biggest boogeymen we face as Creators is “self-doubt”
Self-doubt is all the little voices that counter our productivity, our pleasure, our confidence. It stops us from just going for it, from taking that next step, and from expressing our love for what we are doing. Fact is, we all know this creative roadblock intimately.
But what is doubt actually? And more importantly, how can we move our attention back to our physicality, back into simply taking action, back into Creative Flow?
I propose that doubt will always be around – it is an expression of reality. All the what if’s that plague us are the voicings of one very real fact of life – that WE DON’T KNOW!
We don’t know what will come, what the next moment will be.
“Anything that wishes to stay alive, our projects included, will at times experience doubt – simply because the unknown is facing us”
The key to moving back into flow is to recognize this and agree. Sounds crazy – but if you think about it – doubt is not the issue. It is what we DO with doubt that creates either creative flow or creative blocks.
In today’s training, we will explore how you personally and physically express self-doubt.
Life Artists claims that you are the creator – and it is the creation of an experience that you are aiming for as a creator – as well as the stopping an experience that you no longer want. That experience or creation is in your control and it is always manifesting as a physical state.
Once you know what you are expressing – therefore what you are manifesting – you can choose to expand or shift out of this – by choice. This is creative power.
So, let’s look together at the physical experience you are creating with the doubts roaming around your head and do some training to get you back into the physical state that will allow you to address this doubt and return to creative self -confidence!
Doubt is not the problem – who you become and what you do in response to doubt is what interrupts creative flow!
And remember –
You are the Creator – when you embody your creativity – you manifest your dreams!

Implementation
For those of you who wish to deepen your practice! Simply do yourself a favor and while working with these questions – STAY PHYSICAL!
- Make a list of all the doubts you believe and are saying to yourself – just get them down and visible
- What on your list is total nonsense – cross it out. By nonsense I mean just mean self-talk that only serves to trap your attention in negative and self-destructive self-talk
- What on your list is simply states of meeting the unknown? Can you agree to that experience, laugh, relax, breath, and above all let go of the shame of not knowing and simply accept that yes, these worries, fears, unknown situations may or may not come true and can you take that next step anyhow?
- What on this list is something that truly needs your attention? Can you explore this further especially while maintaining the physical state you now have? Can this be a source of curiosity, problem-solving, responsibility, and action taking?

When doubt stops me cold, I feel pain in the middle of my stomach and I feel have very shallow breathing. So I try to relax my stomach muscles by breathing into that area where it had become tight and not much of my breath is there. I try to also relax my shoulders which usually have contracted as well. Other times I try to tell myself to “cancel” the idea in my head that I see attached to the feeling of doubt. Other times, if these strategies don’t work, I talk with a person I can trust with whom I can speak to them about the thought of doubt, as like a reality check to help me get out of my head and back into the Now once again. This last strategy though is normally after I have already tried the other strategies, I listed before, and have still gotten too deep in my thoughts.
The physical training helped me to reconnect with my self confidence because it helped me to understand and look at this stomach pain and see it as not a negative thing but actually something of a positive sign that I am moving energy and flow in my body from my creativity and intentions, but sometimes it just gets stuck and has to be moved around again. I plan on implementing this training in my daily life by focusing on the areas I know are more prone to getting “stuck” and in the times I feel this “stuck” energy, I know how to and will approach it as an aha moment and get right into it!
When I am in doubt, I start thinking intensely. Like pausing physically I just stay in place and think in many different directions. Playing it through in mind in which direction it could go. And I am moving quite a lot and very fast in my mind…I can start talking about my doubts to friends & family. Like communication and talking can bring me back an overview, my clarity of direction, my confidence and a kind of security. When I am training I become extremely silent. My body is moving much more, this can be seen from outside but especially very much from inside like different streams of temperature and sensations. And then I just move on. Very simple and easy. In daily life I try out shaking a bit when I start doubting next times. Always possible…lets see what this will give to me 🙂
Ah! When doubt stops me, I actually have found a way of communication and expression that does not let me run in circles but brings me back to silence, clarity very easily: WRITING!
First of all: Thank you for this wonderful first VLOG – I loved every second of it. And I love your presence. Its comforting and so cheerful. I was about to go to bed, but then I thought – nah, just do it. So I shaked, jumped, etc. Feeling quite happy now. Hahha.
So to your question: for me doubt is nothing negative at all. Well at least not in the beginning. For me it is this little reminder to be or stay present. It´s that little nudge that tells me that something is important to me – this could be a situation, a person, an occasion or whatever. So I guess when this feeling or physical expression turns up within me I don’t want to push it away but rather caress it and ask myself what it wants to tell me. In fact, doubt for me usually occurs when I make or am about to make myself vulnerable. Doubt is for me that little sign that asks me „are you willing to take the risk to show yourself vulnerable“? When I can realize this it becomes much more easier to make a conscious decision about the situation where doubt occurs.
Thinking about it this way is rather a mental state I would assume, so that I am beyond curious to dig deeper into that physical expression/ dealing with doubt. Because you are so right, it is our body language that first responds to this state. So next time when doubt comes along I will use these little techniques to bring me back in flow.
Thank you Barbara.
Excited to hear from all of you in our collective We:Think! When I get doubtful, I first like to just notice that that is what is happening -I am just a bit nervous —like this first vlog —I felt a bit doubtful. Recognizing that allows me to just relax a bit and laugh – ahhh of course —I am doing something new! And of course, training a bit – a good stretch, some deep breaths a few jumps and even sounds –then I jump back in!
